"We used the venue for our wedding at the end of March. We knew we wanted a location that hadn't been overused in Laredo but also beautiful. We were so pleasantly surprised that the chef, Lorenzo Serratos was located here! He helped us coordinate everything that went on leading up to the wedding as well as the day of. We were able to take advantage of the outdoors by doing a cocktail hour downstairs and have the reception upstairs. It was amazing because so many Laredoans have never seen the view that The Max has to offer, but people that were visiting from out of town and out of state had such a great impression of what Laredo has to offer in beauty and in taste of food. My now husband also surprised me that day with fireworks! This location was evidently a wonderful place to do it as the night sky lit up with large fireworks! Could not have asked for more! Thank you The Max for being awesome!"

"A very beautiful Spanish styled public golf course. Attended a wedding and the first thing that caught my eye was the view from the patio. Watching the sunset during the reception was amazing... The management is funny, friendly, and easy-going. It was my first time visiting, but it sure won't be my last. I plan on returning next time I find myself in town."
